Great takeaway. One of the regulars that I visit at least monthly. Prices have increased since the refurbished but that is to be expected. Best local chippy and was one of the first of it's kind when it opened many years ago. 'Speedy' the worker is infamous in his own right and a local celebrity on other social media platforms. Also a pleasure to speak to the staff.

Came here a week ago and i got the small mix meat and chips which was a very generous portion id say. The meat itself was very juicy and the chips just came out fresh from the fryer the sauces complimented it brilliantly and good service as always from the brother speedy used to always serve me as a kid.

Fantastic service, food is great and tasty especially for that mixed doner I had yesterday which was delicous and perfectly cooked. I'd recommend you guys trying it. However, one thing that could improve the takeaway is to have the option to pay with card.

I often visit Hajees and always have a fantastic experience. I ordered the fish and chips along with donner and chips on this occasion and both were cooked to perfection. The fish was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, while the donner was full of flavour. The service was excellent—quick, efficient, and friendly. A special mention to the guy at the front, known as “Speedy” legend! Hajees never disappoints, I’ll definitely be back again, a highly recommended local takeaway! I recently had hajees after 11 years, and the quality is still amazing and I can’t believe the prices are so good. The portions are generous and the service is fast and friendly. I had hajees 11 years ago on a stop over in Birmingham and having the same flavours still preside and reminded me of the road trip i had as a kid. Highly recommend this place
